Crysis Tutorials

In addition to the video tutorials Russell has provided you with in the 'Tasks for Today' section for this exercise, here are 2 more that are specifically made for what you will be required to do for the following two experiments.
Intial Setup is at:
http://www.mediafire.com/?tnejf3kqlzd
and Terrain editing is at:
http://www.mediafire.com/?unizmnz0i5m
I cannot suggest strongly enough that you look at these tutorials (in order) when starting out with Crysis. You will probably notice that I made them, any questions or feedback for improvement would be appreciated.

Moving Section

A precedent of a moving section, which you will be doing by the end of the week. Not a 'what you should do', just food for thought...
Clip is from the film "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou"

Commercial Street Art

Street art as a commercial outlet. Banksy included... probably by no fault of his/her own.... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/03/red-bulls-ad-campaign-use_n_830688.html

Film Clip Animation

So for those radiohead fans, not the best song...
but a pretty good film clip, plenty to think about for architectural related pursuits

Modern Art vs Classical Paintings

Another link, i'm afraid...

Post your comments (and there should be heaps of them) below.
Russell has (or will) mention at least two of the Modern artists concerned, so now is your chance to get your opinion on record.

Look at this

In all the spare time you all have, have a look at this http://www.exquisitebook.com/about-the-book/
A book, by artists that should challenge, or at least inspire your ideas of the datum.
Combines artistic flair, with problem solving, and presentation. Perfect for the Architect in everyone
